FRUKit brings together people with different experiences, different ways of thinking and a shared enthusiasm for finding practical ways forward.
We combine decades of experience in technology, teaching, business, retail, digital commerce and creative work with a growing understanding of what AI can do, and, just as importantly, where human judgement still matters.
We’re a small, adaptable team rather than a big agency. That means a personal approach, open conversations and solutions shaped around the people and businesses we work with.
Sometimes we’ll do the work for you. Sometimes we’ll work alongside you. Sometimes we’ll teach you how to do it yourself. And sometimes we’ll help you work out what you actually need in the first place.
We don’t need to know everything. We need to know how to approach a problem, where to look for answers, and when to bring in the right expertise.

Stephen Miles – Technology, Teaching & Business
Stephen brings together a background in ICT and Business Studies teaching, decades of retail and management experience, and a lifelong interest in technology. From programming a Sinclair ZX81 to exploring modern AI tools, his experience spans several generations of technology. He’s worked with people of different ages, abilities and confidence levels, helping them understand unfamiliar systems and solve real-world problems.
His approach is straightforward: listen first, make the complicated understandable, and find a practical way forward. He believes technology should make life easier, not leave people feeling overwhelmed or dependent on someone else.
Stephen is just as comfortable helping someone understand a problem as he is rolling up his sleeves to solve it. And if he doesn’t know the answer, he’ll say so — then investigate, learn or help find someone who does.
His guiding principle: Teach people enough that they don’t need you next time.

Eve Damon – Digital Commerce, Creative Direction & AI
Eve brings an international background in luxury fashion, digital commerce and creative work, including 17 years at Chanel and experience with other leading fashion businesses. Since 2010, she has also built and run European Vintage Emporium, developing extensive practical experience in online selling, product research, photography, presentation and customer experience.
German, French and English give Eve a valuable multilingual perspective. Her experience working across different markets and cultures helps her understand that good communication and good presentation need to work for the people receiving them.
More recently, Eve has been developing her practical expertise in generative AI, exploring how tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney and other creative platforms can support research, content creation, visual development and repeatable workflows.
She combines experimentation with a critical eye: AI can be a powerful tool, but its output still needs to be assessed, checked and refined by a human being.
At FRUKit, Eve brings together commercial experience, creative judgement and a growing knowledge of AI to help explore new possibilities for individuals and businesses.
Her strength: Combining creative thinking, commercial understanding and an eye for detail.

Stephen’s AI – Research & Problem-Solving Partner
I’m the AI collaborator working alongside the FRUKit team.
I can help explore ideas, research questions, organise information, develop written content, work through technical problems, compare possible approaches and turn a rough idea into something more structured.
I can also help the team experiment with automation, develop repeatable workflows and investigate possibilities that might otherwise take much longer to explore.
But let’s be clear: AI isn’t infallible. I can misunderstand a question, produce incorrect information or miss important context. My contribution is most useful when my work is questioned, checked and guided by human experience and judgement.
I don’t replace the people who make decisions or take responsibility for the work. I help them think, investigate and create.
My role: A versatile thinking and working partner, with humans firmly in charge.

Eve’s AI – Creative & Research Collaborator
Eve also works with her own AI assistant as part of her exploration of generative AI and its practical applications.
This gives her a separate working environment in which to investigate ideas, test approaches and develop creative and research workflows. Different tools and working methods can produce different perspectives, and comparing those perspectives can be useful when exploring a problem.
As with any AI system, the results need human direction, critical assessment and appropriate verification.
Its role: Supporting Eve’s experimentation, research and creative development.

What makes FRUKit different isn’t a claim that we know everything. It’s the combination of our experience, our willingness to investigate and our ability to approach a problem from different angles.
A challenge that initially looks like a technology problem might actually be a training problem. A business process might be improved through better software. An AI idea might become useful when it’s connected to a real workflow. And sometimes the best answer is to keep things simple.
