Eve – Experience & Expertise

A foundation in luxury, digital commerce and creative AI.
My background in business and creativity began long before generative AI became part of everyday working life.
I spent 17 years working at Chanel, alongside experience with Bergdorf Goodman and J. Mendel. These years in luxury fashion gave me a deep understanding of product quality, presentation, brand identity and the expectations of discerning customers.
My career has also taken me into international showroom environments in Paris, Florence and New York City, working within the world of luxury products, design and retail.
In 2010, Stephen and I founded European Vintage Emporium, an online business specialising in European vintage and antiques. Building and running the business has involved sourcing, research, photography, product descriptions, e-commerce, digital marketing and customer experience.
Running an online business for more than a decade has taught me that success is about much more than having a good product. It requires understanding your audience, communicating clearly, presenting your work effectively and continually adapting to new opportunities.
AI and Digital Practice
My interest in artificial intelligence brings together my experience in luxury, visual communication and online business.
I work hands-on with tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, DALL·E, Microsoft Copilot and Photoroom.
I use AI to explore ideas, research information, develop content, experiment with visual concepts and build more efficient creative workflows. I am particularly interested in how these tools can help independent businesses and creative professionals work more effectively without losing their individual identity or professional standards.
Through Le Manoir de Corbeauval, my creative project exploring French living, antiques and timeless style, I am developing practical ways to bring together AI, storytelling, imagery and digital business.
This provides a working environment in which I can test tools, explore possibilities and understand both their potential and their limitations.
A Little More Than AI Tools
Knowing which AI tool to use is only part of the picture.
My background in luxury fashion has taught me to look closely at quality, detail, presentation and consistency. My experience in e-commerce has taught me to think about the customer, the business objectives and the practicalities of turning an idea into something useful.
I believe AI works best when it supports human judgement rather than replacing it.
That means asking the right questions, checking the results, recognising when something isn’t quite right and knowing when a human decision is essential.
I am particularly interested in helping businesses and creative professionals understand how AI can fit into their existing work in a practical, accessible and meaningful way.
Technology should make work more manageable, not more complicated.
For me, the real opportunity lies in combining new technology with experience, curiosity and a good understanding of how businesses actually work.
